Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
3 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
1 onion (finely chopped)
4 clove(s) garlic (finely chopped or crushed)
1/2 pound ground beef
1 Can (28 oz) tomatoes (crushed)
1 Can (15 oz) canned tomato sauce
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper (scant)
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon oregano
Directions:
- Saute the onion in the butter and olive oil for 2 minutes add sausage and garlic and cook until sausage is cooked through.
- Add everything else and simmer for two hours.
- Serve over spaghetti noodles or use it to make lasagna or stuffed shells.
- I usually triple or quadruple it, and freeze the extra. It freezes very well!
